BrusselSprouts 2 KASIt has been a whirlwind of… I was going to say week, but that doesn’t fit.  Few weeks.. months… years?  Yes… “years” is quite suitable.  It’s been a whirlwind of a few years.  I have a list the circumference of my cat’s midsection of topics and photographs that I want to share, but for now, I leave you with this thought:

I’m a grownup, and I can eat brussels sprouts whenever I want… and I thought now was a good time.

I love brussels sprouts.

I am not declaring myself to be a “foodie” and I will not share an incredible recipe that I’ve whipped up tweaked to perfection.  (For that, head over to see KC at Challenge Accepted.)  I just wanted to share something simple today.  Parboiled brussels sprouts, tossed and sautéed with a little bit of onions, and some garlic that I roasted the other night.  Oh, and just a bit of truffle oil because… well… just because.
