BeautyOfTheMoonSCHWARK

Do you ever stop and look at the moon?  Well, you should.

There she is, a loyal reminder that although she is not always visible, she is always present.  And when we do catch a glimpse of her, she reflects light and beauty.

Oddly enough, on those clear nights, or mornings in the case of the photo that I took today, the very thing that we covet to see, are her scars.  The craters that give her character, texture and color, are the marks left behind when she was banged up, but wasn’t destroyed.

She is beautifully scarred, and a remarkable reminder that the things that bump into us along the way, causing injury and marking us up, are the very things that reflect our own beauty and light to others.
