There are many moments in our lives where the challenge to fully trust what God has promised for each of us, seems like an an insurmountable feat.

But it IS true.
And those moments of fear of the unknown, and anger towards God for putting you on a path that contains pain, disappointment and darkness?  Those are just passing moments if you choose them to be.  Don’t slow down on those parts of your journey- keep going!  When you cling to faith that God has a plan for you that is based on a prosperous, hopeful future, then it weakens that fear, and strengthens your courage to step out into the unknown.  When you face life daily with the confidence that you can get through whatever the sun or moon will bring with it, then fear will no longer block your path, although it will sometimes be lurking around a bend in the road.  Still, your feet will obtain a swiftness towards your purpose, and you will be amazed at what you are capable of.
If you are a parent, then you have experienced the moment when your child is facing something new for the first time, and looks at you like you’re crazy for asking them to try it.  When you are a parent, you know that sometimes what you ask of them isn’t always fun (i.e. flu shot) but you only want to spare them from something even uglier.  (Of course they don’t see it that way at the time!) And as a parent, sometimes you know that what you are asking your child to do will lead to instantaneous joy and happiness!  But that child is facing the fear of the unknown, everyday opening their world to new experiences.  As adults, we shouldn’t give up on facing those “unknowns” just because we are the ones in charge now.
We are all childlike in this world.  Embrace your future by trusting that God is there, watching over, ready to move mountains for us when we ask Him to.  Do you trust that you will have a future described as above?  I do, and you can lean on that for now.
